Books we love to read
reviews, mini-reviews and links

(North Cascades Highway cover)
These books are sometimes available at Easton's and Tattered Page bookstores in Mount Vernon, and the latter has that necessity for all fine bookstores, kitty-cats. If the books are out of print, both stores will attempt to find you a copy or you can look on the Internet. The Roost bookstore in Sedro-Woolley also carries a general collection of thousands of used books. Michael's Used Books in Bellingham and Village Books in Fairhaven are also excellent sources. We especially encourage readers to email and share information about history books that they especially enjoy.
